Remember when we were young and time dragged on so long: school was never going to be over, I’m so bored with nothing to do on a long hot summer vacation day. Then we become parents and life seems to speed up, you can’t catch it when it’s there and you can’t believe how quickly time has sped by when you stop and look back. Thanks for sharing this year of your treasures! Speaking from slightly further down the road: It only picks up speed from here!

I look at these two boys now as we careen into their first birthday and am stunned. Everybody tells you it goes fast, but they don’t tell you exactly how fast it goes. Lightspeed.
