I guess I never thought of the whole with twins you h possibly get woken up twice as often. I cosleep with my daughter mostly so I get some sleep. I put her to bed in her pack and play in our room when she falls asleep and when she wakes up at night to feed I bring her to my bed. Lots of mornings she does the rooting every twenty minutes and it drives me crazy because for the most part she doesn't want to nurse just suck and I just want to sleep. Some day Lily and your boys will sleep though the night and then we might get some good sleep ourselves. That just sounds so hard. I guess I never thought of the whole with twins you h possibly get woken up twice as often.

I just don't sleep that well when they're in bed with me because I sleep much more lightly. Though I do love cuddling them. I'm sure eventually they'll sleep through. I co-slept and breastfed my twins until they were almost two because it was the only way I could get any sleep. I know that's not possible for everyone, or that not everyone wants to be that "attached" - but, it got me through many, many sleepless nights. The good news is that eventually they do sleep through the night. Usually around the time they start sneaking out.
