I just turned in my two weeks notice on Tuesday and asked myself similar questions... Especially when: a. one lives during TRYING ECONOMIC TIMES b. one already has a mountain of debt c. one is leaving to pursue a position that doesn't necessarily mean greater income I'm applying this fall to PhD programs. I'm working on my master's right now, and I left my job for mostly the same reasons. It is a great job, I love my boss, but it isn't a career. I need to do this NOW. Anyway I just... for some reason was comforted that somebody else out there was going through some of the same thoughts. ::Hugs:: I think you made the right decision. Either that or we're both crazy.
